Digital Personal Data Protection Act — How we handle your data
We are collecting your Name, Email Address, and Demographic Data (including your age group, city, occupation, and smartphone ownership history) through this survey. All information is collected voluntarily when you choose to participate.
This data is collected solely for the purpose of the Trakin Tech & Techarc Consumer Sentiment Study on Smartphone Pricing. It will not be used for marketing purposes and will not be sold to any third party. The aggregated, anonymized findings may be shared in research reports and media coverage by Techarc and Trakin Tech.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing support@trak.in. Upon withdrawal, we will stop processing your data and delete your personal information within 30 days of your request. Your survey response will be permanently removed from all databases and analysis datasets.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
① Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
② Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
③ Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data (see Withdrawal above).

We implement reasonable organisational and technical security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is stored securely and access is limited to the research team conducting this study.
Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — the duration of this research study and any subsequent analysis period (up to 12 months from the survey closure date). After this period, all personal data will be securely deleted.
